Overview
Umusambi Village is a beautifully restored wetland area, providing a sanctuary for over 50 endangered Grey Crowned Cranes saved from the illegal pet trade. These majestic birds have been disabled as a result of captivity and are unable to be returned to the wild. Their new permanent home provides an enriching environment for them to enjoy nature again.
All proceeds from entrance fees go directly back into the running costs of Umusambi Village and to further conservation activities of RWCA.
Adult Rwandan: 3,000 RWF ($4)
Adult Resident in Rwanda: 10,000 RWF ($11)
Adult International Visitor: 15,000 RWF ($17)
All Children 2-16 Years: 3,000 RWF ($4)
Children Under 2 Years: FREE
